FateCaster Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how FateCaster, published by VoidWalkerAI, handles user and device data.

Data collection

FateCaster does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal or sensitive user data. The app does not require an account, login, cloud service, advertising service, analytics service, or tracking service to perform its core functions.

Permissions and network access

FateCaster does not request Android runtime permissions for its current functionality. Core dice rolling and roll-history features operate locally on the device and do not require network access.

Local roll history

FateCaster stores recent roll history locally on the user's device so the HISTORY screen can display prior casts. A stored roll record may include the time of the cast, raw d20 result, modifier, calculated final value, target number, outcome tier, and natural 1 / natural 20 state.

This roll history is not transmitted to VoidWalkerAI or to a remote service. FateCaster retains up to the most recent 100 casts. Users can delete the stored roll history from within the app using the Clear History function.

Data sharing

VoidWalkerAI does not share FateCaster user data with third parties because FateCaster does not collect or receive user data from the app.

Google Play may process information related to downloading, installing, or using apps through Google Play under Google's own terms and privacy policies. That processing is separate from FateCaster's local app functionality.

Security

FateCaster's current app data remains on the user's device and is handled within Android's application storage protections. Because FateCaster does not transmit its roll-history data to VoidWalkerAI, there is no FateCaster server holding that history.

Data retention and deletion

Locally stored roll history remains on the device until it is removed by the user, removed as older records rotate out of the 100-record history limit, or removed with the app's local application data. FateCaster does not maintain a remote copy that must be requested from VoidWalkerAI for deletion.

Children's privacy

FateCaster does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults. The app's current functionality is limited to local dice resolution and local roll history.

Changes to this policy

If FateCaster's data practices change, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect the app's actual behavior before the changed data practice is relied upon in distribution.
